Privacy Policy

Chilliwack Tree Care is a referral service in British Columbia. This policy explains what we collect and who sees it. Questions or requests: admin@chilliwacktreecare.ca.

What we collect

• Callback form. Your name, phone number and message, plus the time and your browser type.
• Phone calls. Calls to our number are connected through Twilio to an independent tree company. We log the calling number, the time, how long the call lasted and whether it was answered. Calls are not recorded by us.
• Site visits. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page visits without setting cookies. The contact page uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check that processes browser and device signals to block bots.

We do not set cookies, run advertising trackers or sell your information. Videos are linked rather than embedded, so nothing from YouTube loads until you choose to open it.

How we use it and who sees it

We use your details only to connect you with a tree company and to keep records of the referrals we make. They are shared with:

• An independent tree company, which receives your call or your name, phone number and message so it can contact you. It handles your information under its own privacy practices.
• Our service providers: Cloudflare (hosting, form storage, analytics, security) and Twilio (call connection and text alerts). They may process information outside Canada, including in the United States.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep requests and call logs for as long as we need them to handle the referral and keep business records, then delete them. Ask us and we will delete yours sooner, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent to further use, by emailing us. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia. People elsewhere may have additional rights under local law, and we will honour them.

If this policy changes, the date above will change with it.
